Ode to the Pineapple
Deliciously flavoured – juicy, sweet bite,
Exploding senses preparing to ignite,
Inspiring to escape from the suffocating night.

This dip is light, refreshing and healthy with just 15 calories per tablespoon. Yogurt, besides being a protein-boosting and bone-building food, is one of the best natural probiotics that takes care of your stomach and strengthens the immune system.
Pineapple and Yogurt Dip recipe is a winning combination of delicious and healthy. Cool, creamy and sweet, it makes a great centrepiece for a dinner table served with a platter of assorted fresh fruit. Also tastes great with fruit kebobs, cheeses and crackers on a dessert buffet.
With only 5 ingredients and 10 minutes active time to whip it up, it’s great for satisfying those sudden sweet tooth urges in a healthy way.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1 cup fresh or canned pineapple, finely chopped
2 teaspoons brown sugar or honey
A few drops vanilla essence
This Is What You Do:
If using canned pineapple you can skip the sweetener.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled with fresh fruit, cheeses or wheat crackers.

I remember when first time I got to taste pineapple raita in bangalore. I instantly fell in love with that and finished it by myself with sharing. I love this combination. Perfect snack too, kids also enjoy this. Great share. Like the addition of coconut here.
Pineapple and yogurt make a wonderful combo. Addition of coconut flakes is something new to me and I’m sure it must have taken already delicious pineapple dip to a new level.
