This is a nonalcoholic, dairy free recipe for a creamy, smooth, summery piña colada…ideal for cooking with kids weekends.

Banana is not a part of the traditional recipe but I think its the easiest and healthiest way of adding creaminess and sweetness without loading on sugar, heavy cream and ice-cream.

I always make this drink for kiddie parties and family gatherings and it gives a wonderful feel of tropical summers.

For Piña colada for Kids :

1+1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup coconut milk
1 banana, peeled
Ice cubes as desired

This Is What You Do :

Whiz all the ingredients in a blender till well blended. Add ice cubes and whiz again.
To decorate the rims of glasses dip them in a little pineapple juice and then in sugar or dried coconut flakes.
Garnish the drink by adding a slice of pineapple to the glass.

Makes 2-3 servings ( depending on how much ice you add)
