Grapes are in season and a fruit salad with grapes is my favourite way of eating them. This simple and delicious Creamy Grape Salad is tart and juicy with a touch of creaminess from the cheese to balance, every mouthful is a burst of flavours.

With so few ingredients, it sounds too simple for a recipe. But in my experience, right pairing of ingredients and then choice of dressing is everything in salads. Adding cheese or Greek yogurt takes the salad to a whole new level of divine. You can add feta, goat’s cheese, cottage or paneer cheese to suit your taste.

The Creamy Grape Salad gets ready in minutes and is a delight as a light lunch, healthy snack or delicious side for a formal meal. It’s addictive and one of the best things you can do with grapes.

2 cups green grapes
3/4 cup pomegranate seeds/pearls
1 pickled onion, sliced
1 cup cottage cheese/paneer cheese or Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
Salt to taste

This Is What You Do:
Mix grapes, pomegranate seeds and onions in a bowl.

Add Lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Give the salad a good toss.

Top with cheese of your choice or Greek yogurt. Serve this delicious Creamy Grape Salad chilled.
