Life is great. Cheese makes it better.

This quick and easy chicken cheese bites recipe is very popular with my family.the succulent chicken cheese bites are not only tasty but also nutritious…a lot better than ordering takeaway or pizza. If you have chicken and cheese in your fridge you can serve this amazingly simple yet stylish snack in minutes. It’s so easy that even my daughters make this one when they are having their friends over for pool parties and sleepovers. It makes them feel so good when they serve something they have cooked to their friends.
For Chicken Cheese Bites:
1/2 kg boneless chicken
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon mustard sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground red chilli pepper
1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
2 tablespoons olive/vegetable oil
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Toothpicks to string on chicken cubes.
This Is What You Do :
Dip 20-25 wooden tooth picks in water for 30 minutes.Cut chicken into bite size cubes. Mix all the other ingredients in a bowl, except oil, add chicken cubes and leave to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium, add the marinated chicken. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes or till the chicken picks up some colour. Cover the pan, reduce heat and cook another 5 minutes.
Thread two chicken cubes per toothpick. Repeat till you have used all the chicken cubes. Arrange in an oven proof plate, sprinkle the cheese over chicken bites. Put under a broiler till the cheese melts( 2 minutes) or if you don’t have an oven or grill, place the plate in the microwave for a few (30-40 )
seconds or till the cheese melts. Serve hot over iceberg leaves with your favourite dip or check my blog for Homemade Chilli Garlic Sauce.
